You have completed the book review. You have chosen your book. ...but why? What drew you to this story or this particular book?
The theme of our "Senior Read" unit is the idea of "Windows and Mirrors". Would you say that this book acts as a window or mirror for you? No need to give specific reasons (as it may be personal) just let your fellow reader know how this book functions for you.
I chose this book because I saw the cover and read the summary and it drew me in. The story really drew me in by reading the first chapter and learning about her difficulties. Her twist that changed her life forever made me feel grateful for what I have. I would say my book is a window because I am looking in on her life. Learning her challenges has made her who she is now.

I chose this book because I was drawn to the story of Jessica. I found this book amazigly awesome. This story is a window looking into jesscia's life. This story shows how she wet from a amazing running star to someone who lost her leg. She has to restart in life all over again.

I chose this book because while I was doing my assignment for a book, I read a little bit of it and I thought it was pretty interesting and knew that it was a book that I would like to read. I would be looking through a window, because I would be reading about someone else's life, instead of looking at a reflection of mine.

I chose this book because when I saw the cover I thought it was going to be boring, but I read a little bit of it and I thought it was pretty interesting. The book tells a story of how a girl loves to run, but when she gets into an accident that removes her leg, she will have to be able to live with her prosthetic leg. I still think I'm reading through a window because the book doesn't really describe me enough for it to be a mirror. I'm not too sure how she will get through the pain and be able to live with the leg. I know that her family helped her a lot with the issue, but her friends weren't so helpful. She loves to run and wanted to join track, but after the accident she's not too sure how to live on now that it's more difficult for her to walk let alone run. She thought that her life was good and with a straight path, now it's messed up now that it's harder for her to walk. She is dreaming of being able to run again and hopefully live a good life with the prosthetic leg.
